About us
The United Black Men of Queens Foundation, Inc. (UBMQ), is a community based 501 C 3 organization based in Queens, New York. Founded with the mission to actively assist and support the education of young people living in Queens communities and their journey towards adulthood. We prepare them by nurturing them within their communities, empowering them to believe in self-worth and to provide service to their communities.
UBMQ often collaborates with local schools, civic groups, and local businesses to provide mentoring, scholarships, and community service opportunities. UBMQ is headed by President Steven Board an award-winning marketers and nonprofit guru. He is dedicated to empowering youth and their families. Under Steven's leadership, UBMQ will meet its full potential as it successfully transitions into the 21st century.

Our Mission

Through a variety of programs and initiatives, we aim to create a strong network that fosters a sense of belonging and encourages individuals to pursue their goals. Additionally, we emphasize the importance of mentorship and provide resources that facilitate growth and success for all participants involved.
