Good day brothers, hope all is well. Quick update yesterday mentoring session was a huge success. We collaborated with Eagle Academy My Brothers Keeper Program to host Know Your Rights session with Detective Jermaine Washington, One Police Plaza, and representatives from the Queens District Attorney Office Youth Empowerment Unit  (

Marlon Palacios Jr. Senior Community Coordinator and Pierre Loiseau, Director, Youth Empowerment Unit). 
 
We had a full house of 26 scholars! President Steven Board and member Jackie Wilson attended and supported the session. Our next two sessions (May 17 and 24th) will be at Eagle Academy as we kickoff a new series called Meet Your Local Elected Official. This Saturday will be Councilmember Dr. Nantasha Williams and Assemblymember Alicia Hyndman. Your attendance will be greatly appreciated. It’s important that the elected officials see us out strong as they fund this program. Flyers are attached below. Pictures from yesterday session is also attached.
